Who you are is not who you think you are
Some people call it “voices in their head.” You know, when you are thinking and you are aware that you are thinking? This brings up two questions:
- Who is talking?
- Who is listening?
The answer to both naturally – is you. But there is a big difference to who you think you are, and who you truly are.
Who you think you are is the result of your thoughts and the beliefs you have had up until now. They may be dated. They may be inaccurate. They may be old. And they may have been what has been keeping you back! Thinking is not bad by itself though – provided you are thinking about the right things in the right way.
Who you are is not your thoughts. Who you are is who you are. Who you are is amazing. Who you are is interesting. Who you are is creative, fascinating and fascinated. There is a difference.
Over the next few weeks I will be pondering this thought also… and will then add it to this article. What are your thoughts?
What do you think?
